Business Development Representative (remote – multiple positions)

BlueKatana is looking for Business Development Representatives to be part of our team.

You will produce, contact, and follow up leads with potential customers. You will develop a working relationship with them. No special technical expertise is needed, but you should be able to understand the services that BlueKatana has to offer. Some previous experience in business development may be needed for your success, but if you consider yourself a rock star, you can start with no previous experience. You will own the relationship with the customer from lead creation to contract signing. We will provide you with access to our CRM where you will document your work each day. This challenge is only available for driven individuals who are highly motivated.


  • Feel comfortable through cold-calling and emailing to leads
  • Produce qualified leads from CRM/Marketing campaign data
  • Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities
  • Introduce BlueKatana to potential customers
  • Identify customer needs and be able to tie these to BlueKatana offerings
  • Produce new opportunities from your market
  • Up-sell existing customers when new potential projects are needed
  • Coordinate meetings on-site and via remote-session when needed, include technical resources to help close a contract
  • Produce a lead brief document on the CRM tool for executive review
